Our Warranty Policy

The following warranty applies only to Hideo Wakamatsu products purchased in the Philippines from an authorized Hideo Wakamatsu store, Hideo Wakamatsu web store or authorized dealer.

First Two Years of Ownership:

No Questions Asked with limited exceptions: if your Hideo Wakamatsu product is damaged during the first two (2) years you own it, Hideo Wakamatsu will cover all repair expenses. You can avail of free parts and services for the repair of your damaged luggage. If we determine that a replacement product is not available, we will provide you with a product of comparable value. If we determine that the product is damaged beyond repair, we will replace it. 


For Years Three through Five of Ownership:
Our warranty covers defects during years three to five you own your Hideo Wakamatsu product.  Hideo Wakamatsu will repair free of charge any items that are defective in materials or workmanship, including any structural defects (such as defective handles, zippers, or locks). The cost of parts that are to be replaced, however, will not be covered. 
 

Proof of Purchase
Please save your store receipt or warranty card as proof of purchase. This will be needed to demonstrate your warranty coverage. Additionally, this will serve as proof that your purchase was made at an authorized Hideo Wakamatsu Philippines retailer. Our Five Year Limited Warranty only applies to products that were purchased from an authorized Hideo Wakamatsu Philippines store or dealer.

Hideo Wakamatsu will not cover damage resulting from wear and tear that is not the result of defects in materials or workmanship. We also will not cover damage caused by airlines or other transit damage. Damage claims in transit cases should be filed against the carrier. Other damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse, cosmetic damage (such as scratched leather or stained fabrics) and incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses. Hideo Wakamatsu Philippines reserves the right to determine if the warranty is valid or void due to the abuse or neglect of the product. Hideo Wakamatsu cannot also assure that there will always be readily available parts. This will depend on its availability in the warehouse as well as in production.
